Antonio Ermolao Paoletti (May 8, 1834, Venice - December 13, 1912, Venice) was an Italian painter, primarily known for his scenes of Venetian life, depicting the lives of children and women of the Bamboccianti, as well as religious frescoes for churches in the Veneto region. Antonio studied at the Accademia as a student of Pompeo Marino Molmenti and as a colleague of the sculptor Antonio Dal Zotto and the Armenian painter and engraver Edgar Chahine. He exhibited in various art exhibitions, including the one in Milan in 1872, where he presented the painting "Ecco come va il vino nelle messe." In the Turin Exhibition in 1884, he displayed "Louloudia gia tin Panagia" and "Fa' caro al nonno." In the Promotrice Popolana Venicena in 1884, he presented "il pesce addenti," and in 1885, "Il venditore di pesce." Among his many frescoes, one of the main altarpieces he created depicted the Madonna of the Rosary with Saint Anthony and Saint Maternus (1863) for the parish church of Melara. Like his father, Antonio also became a professor at the Accademia.
