Nikos Engonopoulos, son of Panagiotis (October 21, 1907 \u2013 October 31, 1985), was a Greek professor at the National Technical University of Athens, a painter, set designer, and poet. He is considered one of the major representatives of the generation of the '30s and one of the main exponents of the surrealist movement in Greece. His work also includes translations, critical studies, and essays. His paintings can be found in the National Gallery, the Municipal Art Galleries of Athens, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, the Theater Museum at the National Technical University of Athens, and in private collections.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
